Teddington Baptist Church
The church is located in a secondary shopping street with mixed residential property and offices on either side. Finding how to enter the church during the week was a difficulty, down a side door at the back of the car park, which meant that the shops and offices never saw the church in operation during the week as the main entrance doors were only ever opened on Sundays. A new atrium style entrance has transformed the whole site and enabled a visible and transparent new entrance to be formed. It has enabled the internal circulation to be rationalised removing the need to circulate through one space to reach another. It has also provided better security and a ministry opportunity for church representatives to man the reception desk and provide a welcoming church face to all building users.
