Claremont Baptist Church, Shrewsbury

We were appointed by the church to work with a local developer on the design of a new church behind a retained historic façade as part of a planned redevelopment of the historic High Street. The new church facilities have been planned on two levels to enable the church to operate as a town centre resource. The design includes provision for future proposals to construct a structural glass atrium in front of the retained historic façade to provide a café, immediately accessible from the High Street, retaining views of the heritage street frontage.
